Exhibition: Intertraffic Istanbul by Amsterdam RAI

Amsterdam RAI in collaboration with UBM, will be organizing the 8th Intertraffic Istanbul Exhibiton between 27-29 May at IFM center.

Intertraffic is the only exhibition specialized in inter- and intracity transportation systems, smart mobility solutions, road safety, traffic management and planning themes in Turkey. In 2013, around 200 exhibitors from 30 countries took part in Intertraffic Istanbul fair. This year, a Dutch delegation will also join the exhibition.

Exhibition - 'Istanbul: The Rise of a Mega City'

On 21 April 2015, the Center for Urban Studies hosts its first photography exhibition. With some 90 photographs gathered collaboratively by a team of 30 Master students, professors, and PHD candidates from the University of Amsterdam, it will offer an intriguing and unique portrait of life in the rapidly-transforming, historic city that is Istanbul.

Station Centraal / Merkez Istasyonu Symposium - Istanbul

After the successful 2011 ‘Station Centraal’ exhibition and symposium a Dutch-Turkish event will take place 
in Istanbul and Ankara in May 2013: ‘Station Centraal / Merkez Istasyonu’. The eight Dutch station projects featured in the 2011 exhibition will be complemented by Turkish projects, including models, drawings and visualisations. A symposium will be organised on the first two days of the exhibition with speakers from various disciplines related to the station and railway developments in both countries.

Industry 4.0, or Smart Industry as it is also called, is nowadays an important issue when talking about future prospects and the economy of a country. Turkey has strong ambitions to prepare its industry for this new development, while The Netherlands has good experience in concrete Smart Industry solutions. In order to match the developments in both countries, the Dutch economic network will organize five seminars related to Industry 4.0, covering relevant aspects such as vocational education, smart agriculture and technology developments related to Industry 4.0.
