The 22nd edition of ‘Festival on Wheels’ will be held between 25th of November – 9th of December in Ankara and Sinop. On 5 December, the screening will take place in Kastamonu.

In Ankara and Kastamonu the festival (with support from the Embassy in Ankara) will show silent movies from the Ottoman Empire era restored by EYE Institute, Amsterdam.
During the screenings there will be live music performance.

Fahrettin Örenli – High Heels

How socio-economic and political issues influence to build the sustainable conscious knowledge for future
Örenli was born in Turkey and studied in the Netherlands at a.o. the Rijksakademie van Beeldende Kunsten. His works were shown in several international institutions and exhibitions.
 
In ‘High Heels’, Örenli merges different arts like drawing, painting, video and even poetry.
His exposition will be shown in DEPO, Tophane from 3 September until 9 October.

Cinema Turkey Now! - Amsterdam

Every year World Cinema Amsterdam turns the spotlight on the cinema of a specific country or region where special things are happening in the field of filmmaking. In this sense, the festival will dedicate the focus of its 2016 edition to Turkey through the programme Cinema Turkey Now! by showcasing not only feature films, but also documentaries and shorts.

Red Tulip Film festival

The Red Tulip Film Festival  will mark its fourth anniversary from May 27 through June 4. This year, the festival takes place in more cities than ever before.

The nine-day festival will screen many titles in four sections that include a feature film competition program, a panorama program and two other sections for short films and documentaries.

Ankara Film festival 2016

Boasting over 200 films from dozens of countries around the world, the 27th Ankara International Film Festival is taking place from 28 April until 8 May.

This year, a number of Dutch films are being shown such as 'Supporting Film'  and ' All of a Sudden'.

European Union Human Rights Film Days in Ankara

The Embassy of the Kingdom of the Netherlands is participating with 3 movies in the EU Human Rights Film Days 2015.

The 5th EU Human Rights Film Days, an event organized in collaboration with The European Union Delegation to Turkey and the cultural centers of the EU Member States, will be held in Istanbul and Ankara around the 10 December Human Rights Day.
